Run, Forest, Run!

Watching a KC vs Boston ballgame here. Boston had a runner on first, and he had quite the adventure. He got caught in no man’s land between first and second, making multiple back and forth moves. Then the throw to second missed and headed into the outfield. He made a move for second, then seeing the center fielder get the ball, decided to go back to first. The throw to first almost got there in time, but he slid in safe. To which the announcer stated: “That’s a lot of energy to end up where you started from.” No Kidding. :)
