More Ultraviolet

An article here about the training Milla Jovovich did for the role. Six months training and she does most of her own stunts. Pretty good. The other interesting thing was that the director had the stunt coordinator eat with her to make sure she was eating enough for the energy she was burning. You don’t hear that too often. The bad news in the article is that the movie was initially intended to be R rated, but is now PG-13. To me, that means that some of the cooler spots will be gone from the movie, and I’ll bet that there will be another double dip on the DVD. Theatrical release, then the Special Edition, and then the Unrated Director’s Cut. These studio’s are getting so predictable. And they wonder why the box office is going downhill when they purposefully screw the pooch on the theatrical release just so they will have something more for the DVD sales.
