Another Giveaway...

Apple - Trailers - Lucky Number Slevin Here's a movie I thought looked interesting from previous teaser trailers. Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, Josh Harnett, Lucy Liu - in what looks like a noir-esque film. Then comes along this new trailer at Quicktime and of course they just have to give away what looks like a major plot point. They didn't do that in other previews I'd seen, but I guess they couldn't help themselves. So don't watch the trailer if you want to be surprised. What is it with studios constantly giving away major plot points of their movies in the trailers? They did it with Ultraviolet, probably gave away too much with X3, and now again with Slevin and countless others before. The last time I was really surprised by a movie was when I watched the DVD of North by Northwest, where I figured it out seconds before the reveal. Every new movie seems predictable nowadays, but maybe that's because I've seen the trailers...
