TV Shows on DVD News

Well, they finally are getting around to it. The TV Show Walker, Texas Ranger is reportedly going to come out with Season 1 sometime in 2006. They released the Final Season last year, though nobody knew why they decided to release that first. They first couple of seasons were my favorites - just seemed to have better stories, flow, and writing. After about season 5, I think, it started to go downhill. Maybe it had something to do with some of the names that changed in the credits. Anyway, it'll be interesting to see when this Season 1 comes out and if it will contain any extras. Elsewhere, it looks like Renegade Seasons 2 & 3 are coming to DVD March 21, 2006. I wondered what happened to this after they announced Season 2 was coming last year, but there you go. I guess they'll be gauging sales of these sets to see if they are going to bother with the final 2 seasons. Also, looks like Hunter Season 3 is coming to DVD January 3rd. Unfortunately, it looks like they've lost the slim cases and gone with the fold out packaging instead. Too bad, I hate the fold out packaging, but with only 3 discs it might not be too difficult to deal with. It's a problem when you have to unfold 3 feet of packaging to get one disc of a six disc collection... And finally, one of the funniest short lived sitcoms will complete the DVD series with the show's final run of Season 3 of Titus on January 17th. I'm watching Seasons 1 & 2 on DVD, and this show was hilarious. Twisted, but hilarious. I remember coming home from work and watching this along with the beginning seasons of That 70's Show back when they were first on. Back when That 70's Show was actually funny, but Titus was even funnier...
