More X3 Pics Hitting The 'Net!

Dark Horizons has a bunch of new X3 pics. Be forewarned that there are some spoiler-ish pics there, and possibly some disappointment or elation depending on which side of the Wolverine and (Rogue/Jean/Storm) movie-verse fandom you’re on…(there are huge internet followings for all three variations, so I figure the warning is due). They all look really good, and have me even more intrigued in the direction this movie is going. The Wolverine pics are cool, of course, but there is also a really good shot of Colossus in metal form and the Jugs character is starting to grow on me as not looking completely ludicrous. It looks like at least some vibes of the internet ‘leaked’ script are coming through, which may not be a good thing. I still can’t see how they are going to do a Dark Phoenix storyline right without featuring a lot of screen time for Cyclops. Obviously, from the plot summary, they are also working in story points of Joss Whedon’s run on Astonishing X-Men comic, on top of the Phoenix story. It’ll be worth seeing this just to see how the heck they think they’re going to do the plot and characters justice without a King Kong like running time… Oh well, I can’t think about it too much – just going to have to try to avoid spoilers and go see it and enjoy it for what it is. Then afterward go to the comic forums and read through the thousands of posts from venting fanboys on how they did it all wrong…
