Darkness, panic, safety after Toronto plane crash - Yahoo! News Wow, that must have been some site on the 401 yesterday. Thank God no one was killed. I guess it just goes to show that no matter what type of vehicle it is, rain slicked pavement decreases stopping ability. I wonder what the final investigation will come out with - ie. who's decision was it to land there at that time? Did they not have enough fuel to divert? Did they not have Michelin all weather tires?
