Getting exercise helps alleviate depression, a study has found. What a shock. Ironically, Chuck Norris has known this for years. I think it was in his book "The Secret Power Within", he had mentioned how exercising can really help when you're feeling bogged down or have a lot on your mind. Doing something physically demanding can help clear a mentally taxing situation. You wind up feeling better and regain focus. I wonder if it has anything to do with getting blood and oxygen to the brain... |
